VILLAGE CLERK
The Village Clerk-Treasurer’s office is the gateway to open and accessible government serving the citizens of Mukwonago through a variety of services.
We administer Elections, issue municipal licenses, collect tax payments, respond to public records requests, assist with voter registration, provide oaths of office, prepare agendas for public meetings of the Village Board and other Village bodies, and attends the meetings to record minutes of the actions taken by the Village Board, and ensures that meetings are conducted in accordance Wisconsin open public meetings law.
The Village Clerk acts as a liaison between the community and its elected officials, and is responsible for maintaining for permanent record contracts and documents resulting from Board action. The Village Clerk publishes ordinances and updates the Code book.
