Public Works Department

Public Works plans and builds a future focused on resident quality of life. We engineer, maintain, repair and construct roads and bridges, sidewalks and storm water systems, parks and parking lots. Snow removal, garbage, yard waste and recycling keep our community clean and safe. Weed control, public building beautification, streets signs and roadway and athletic field markings ensure a visually appealing and easy to navigate environment. From potholes to parks, we take great pride in applying best practices to ensure Mukwonago remains a place where life, leisure and business thrive.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Public Works Department is to maintain the infrastructure and to protect the health and welfare of the Village residents, businesses, and visitors. The department works to provide these services, with the unity and trust of skilled personnel.

Vision Statement:

The vision of the Public Works Department is to plan and build for the future while ensuring quality of life for the community.
